An interesting, top fermented concoction, containing a real variety of malts and a mix of hop varieties for a complex flavour. Red ales are often created through the use of high temperature kiln dried caramel malts. I think the colour of this ale is achieved with the real mix of different malts used.
Pours a reddish brown with only a tiny head. The reddish hue doesn't really show well in the photo.
This beer has a spicy/fruity hop aroma, an enticing pleasant fruity malt driven mid palate with a slightly bitter lingering finish.
Complex flavours yet a nicely balanced beer.
