Nynäshamns Bötet Barley Wine

Barley wine is a very strong  top fermented ale, this one comes in at 9.1% ABV.

This one was enjoyed with a cheese platter with fig paste at "Man in the Moon" in Stockholm, it proved a perfect accompaniment.

Just look at that almost red colour, how enticing.

I don't know if it was the fig paste we enjoyed with the beer but it tasted sweet. A lovely caramel malt flavour I really enjoyed this one, something a little different to my usual beers.
