Kooinda Black IPA - Australia

Another Australian craft brewed Black IPA ( I enjoyed the Bootleg Black IPA back in September). This one is brewed by boutique craft brewers "Kooinda" in Melbourne.

The "Kooinda" has a more prominent toasted malt flavour than "Bootleg", it has 7% ABV and has been hopped with Nelson Sauvin hops. Lovely black ale with a thick tan head. I didn't really get the full fruity hop flavour but the "Nelson Sauvin" bitter finish was certainly there.

A pretty good Aussie version of a North American style ale brewed with a New Zealand hop variety.
