Lagunitas Brewing "Wilco Tango Foxtrot" Brown Ale- USA

This one is labelled as "Wilco Tango Foxtrot" (WTF) jobless recovery ale. It is an interesting take on an American strong or American Brown Ale.

Pours a nice dark copper colour with a small tan head that quickly dissipates. The colour comes from Chocolate malts, Roasted Barley and some Black malt. It has an interesting aroma, definitely malty but also some spicy hop character. Toasted malty flavour, some chocolaty sweetness and with a spicy slightly bitter hop finish. It is quite strong both in flavour and alcohol content (7.8%ABV).

A very enjoyable tasty Ale.
